Modifying Building components
- Select a Building component or a set of components for modification. The Modify tab dynamically turns , making the Modify tools available on the contextual ribbon.

Select
Modify Properties.
The modify dialog opens where modifications to
catalog items, instances, properties and values associated with selected
graphic elements are made.
- Complete modification settings and accept modifications with a data point in the view to accept. The modifications to the properties get applied to the selected building component.
The Properties dialog
The universal Property Panel dialog dynamically changes
the role:
- When placing a building component the Property Panel reads "Place <Building Element> name". The values for properties in initial placement settings are managed here.
- Selecting a single element in the view, reads the dialog "Properties: <Building Element> name". All the properties of selected element are displayed, for reading.
- Double-clicking the element changes the dialog to "Modify <Building Element> name". Allowable properties can be modified.
